Who Am I?
I am a travel journalist, author, podcaster, and photographer with a deep love for the outdoors and the natural world—something that frequently inspires and shapes my writing.
I’m especially drawn to exploring parks and gardens, waterfalls and rivers, wildlife and birding, and the quiet beauty of spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Wherever natural beauty and grace can be found, you’ll likely find me there, camera and notebook in hand.
My Story
When I travel, I look for the unique character of each destination so I can share those discoveries with others. History and music are also passions of mine, and I believe every place has a story to tell—if you take the time to find it.
Exploring different cultures through museums, music, art, and conversations with thoughtful, everyday people reveals countless insights about a place and its people. Each experience uncovers new perspectives and stories worth sharing. For me, learning is a lifelong journey—and travel is one of its greatest teachers.
On the Horizon
There are still so many places I hope to explore. Recently, I visited the beautiful islands of the Bahamas, as well as Roatan, Belize City, and Cozumel. In 2026, I have numerous trips planned across the United States and into Mexico and the Caribbean, so it promises to be a busy and exciting year.
Internationally, visiting England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales has long been a goal. Italy, Greece, and many other parts of Europe also hold great appeal, along with more of Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. In truth, I would love to explore almost everywhere.
Wherever natural beauty and deep-rooted history come together, I find endless fascination. There are countless places waiting to be discovered in this world—and I intend to visit as many of them as I can.

“You’ll never know until you go.”
