Who Am I?
I am a travel journalist, author and photographer. I enjoy the outdoors and nature and include them often in my writing.
In addition, I love exploring parks, gardens, waterfalls, rivers, animals, birding, stunning sunrises and sunsets. Wherever beauty and grace can be found, I’m there.
My Story
I try to find the unique aspects of places I visit so I can share what I find with others. History and music are more passions -every place has a story to tell if only you find it.
Exploring different areas and cultures, whether through museums, music or other art forms, or conversations with wise, ordinary people uncover a myriad of information to share with the world. Learning is a lifelong quest and always interesting.
On the Horizon
I have so many places I want to visit! I will be making a return trip to the Pacific Northwest. My recent travels there were amazing, but there is so much more I want to see. I hope to visit some of the mid-Atlantic and delve into some history there. I recently returned from a beautiful trip to the Bahamas. Later in 2025, I will be visiting Honduras, Belize City, and Cozumel. I can’t wait!
On the international front, venturing into England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales has always been a goal. Equally important are Italy, Greece, and other European areas. All hold a great deal of interest for me as well as other parts of Canada, Mexico, Central America, and different areas in the Caribbean. In truth, I would like to explore almost everywhere!
Whenever simple beauty and the deep roots of history entwine hold endless intrigue for me. There are many places to seek out and discover in this world, and I’m going to do my best to visit as many as I can!
